News and Events

One of the key aims of this project is to engage a wide audience of stakeholders in our work and to disseminate the project outputs to multiple audiences across the globe. On this page you'll find news & events concerning our project. Although the project ended in December 2022, we are all still involved in translational research and would love to hear form you if you like to find out more about the project or join us as we continue this important work.

Crowd Sourcing

In mid to late October 2020, we conducted an online survey to help us shape the design principles for our MOBILE APP. We had a great response and those ideas were added to those form the focus group to develop the initial mobile app design.

Transnational Project Meetings

The Project Team have now completed four trans national project meetings. The first of these was face-to-face and held at the University of Hull in the UK. Unfortunately due to Covid 19, the second (Athens, Greece), third (Galway, Ireland) and fourth (Spain) were transferred to an online space, however they worked really well using a mixture of activities and breakout rooms.

The fifth project meeting was due to be held in Greece in September 2021, but alas, we moved online again as we did for our final two day meeting.

Our Mobile App is up and running!

We have now launched our mobile app. You can download the Mobile App from both the Apple Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/brist/id1614833681) and from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.brist&gl=GB)

Working online - the new normal!

Focus Groups

In October 2020, we ran a series of focus groups across the partner countries (Greece, Ireland, Poland, Spain, and the UK). The aim of which was to share the key findings from our scoping study with groups of teachers and other interested stakeholders, and collect their views on what we've found out. Additionally we started to collect ideas from teachers on the kind of MOBILE APP that they might find useful to support them in becoming active researchers of their own practice.
